Negus

This series of poems exist as "the glance" shared between those who skin is repeatedly mistaken for a weapon. Negus began as an outlet and transformed into a voice; unabashed, filled with rage, hurt, joy and respect for the black experience. It is an observation and praise of the resilience and beauty that is persistent in black bodies. Prose and poetry purify the soul, revealing the essence of what it means to identify as memeber of the Fam.
