An Evening Watch

At the beginning of this new book is a Foreword - a Preamble Ramble - which may explain what my being here is all about. Suffice to say, the content has an eclectic mix of short stories, all true - well, all based on fact. You can speculate as to the real and the fanciful, although all have an common thread that bind them. I enjoyed writing these tales of youth, love, history, faith, hope and death. The stories, written over many years, held my attention very well for each rewrite - considering my advancing maturity - even gaining a little recognition for a couple of them - one of which received a literary award.
