Willa and the Tangled Wish is the heartwarming first story in the Willa the Wishmender series — a gentle, magical adventure for children and families. When seven-year-old Willa hears the old village wishing well humming, she knows something unusual is about to happen. Wishes aren’t supposed to jump out of the well… but this one does. A tangled, glowing wish bursts into Willa’s hands, frightened and confused — and in desperate need of mending. Unsure what to do, Willa seeks help from Grandmother Moss, the wise old woman who understands how wishes grow, break, and sometimes lose their way. Together, they show Willa that even the smallest person can fix something important — especially when it comes from the heart. But repairing the wish means following a golden thread through the woods, uncovering a birthday mishap, and meeting Biscuit — a half-fish, half-dog creature created entirely by accident. Along the way, Willa learns that not all wishes go the way we expect… and some are tangled for reasons that matter. Filled with kindness, humor, and courage, Willa and the Tangled Wish is the perfect read-aloud chapter book for families and young readers who love magical stories, gentle fantasy, and big feelings. Willa will return in Book Two: WILLA AND THE WISH THAT WOULDN’T STOP.
