Today Is...

When I am all alone, I can convince myself that things will be okay. the truth is, sometimes it isn't. When I am alone, I can convince myself I have compassion but I get uncomfortable with practicing it. It turns out, I am not as unselfish as I thought I was. When I am alone, I can convince myself that I can love everyone but then I realize I can not. When I am with my family, my limitations, fears and ego are revealed to me. Despite all that, I want to be with them if they will have me.
