Mad Crazy Love

The poems in Mad, Crazy Love were written in a time period spanning more than 50 years, from 1959 to 2011, and reflect the conflicts, issues, concerns that shaped manifestations of love and desire during that time. Gender roles, the sexual liberation movement, the feminist consciousness-raising movement, with the Viet Nam war, civil rights movement, and the war on poverty as a background, frame these most personal and passionate poems.
