This book describes (condensed) the most important aspects of the realtime (solar time/time zone time relation). I also present designs and projects — completed or still in development — related to the topic of realtime clocks. 60 pages, DIN A4 landscape format, black spiral binding, version 2025, © Michael Arntz (TASC).
It is now undisputed — even in chronosciences (Chronobiology; biological rhythms, internal clock, circadian rhythms, time giver) — that the course of the sun and the dynamics of day and night have a decisive impact on all vital processes in the world.
However, the actual solar time can deviate considerably from our »normal« time.
Time-of-day-related scientific data are often still collected, published and applied on the basis of »normal« time zone time. This can lead to undesirable consequences, especially in pharmacology.
In order to resolve the discrepancy between time zone time and solar time, we should use both of them together according to their essential nature!
