A Secret Found

When Daniel and Rachel Hartman purchase the decaying Twilight Star Saloon in San Francisco, they believe they are investing in a future, restoring history, building something of their own, and leaving behind the violence and loss of their former lives. But old buildings do not easily surrender their past. Hidden behind embossed wallpaper and concealed within brick, Rachel discovers a hand-drawn map and a key locked inside an antique safe, objects placed with deliberate care, meant to be found only by someone patient enough to look.
