Black Life

Hark Oates and his colleague Headley Medlicott are two university academics in their late fifties who decide to research melanin just for the joy of it. They make a pact never to profit from the findings of their research but, when they stumble onto a discovery that will shake the whole of medical science, the ambitious predators around them begin to close in. What begins as a naive pact and a joyous occupation develops into a battle for their lives.
