SUNSHOT were a magnificent band, as rowdy as they were catchy, with vocals that would veer from dainty to ferocious, over music which beguiled at time with subtle intensity then surged like the charge of the light brigade. In short, they were a form of inspired techno punk before such a thing truly existed. Here we have the visual evidence, starting with Toby playing bass for The Butterflies at the Bull & Gate in 1990, then Sunshot at the White Horse in December of that year, with Jake of The Butterflies repaying the favour. From 1991 we have gigs at the Falcon, Borderline, Marquee, Bull & Gate, Rails, posed at home, and some casual shots of them hanging around like young wastrels at the Falcon. In 1992 we catch them at the Falcon, Camden Underworld and Islington Powerhaus. 1993 takes in the Marquee and Bull & Gate before we finish with the Borderline on 3.7.95. That amounts to 922 black and white photos in all, as well as a smattering of flyers.
