It is not intended to provide the esoteric knowledge of its philosophy. Though information can be printed on pages the spirit of Freemasonry can only be imbued upon its member within a lodge. We maintain that the light of freemasonry is not a secret in and of itself. Without an upright heart the reader will not understand masonic literature and likewise will not misuse what he does not understand.
