Hemmed In

Shaka, a young black activist, and his girlfriend, Zenobia have returned to Shaka’s hometown, Shreveport, LA, to help take care of his great aunt, the woman who raised him. Although Shaka and Aunt Lou love one another very much, they never see eye-to-eye on what black history means. When Aunt Lou dies unexpectedly, Shaka feels that he will never understand the history she could have taught him until he discovers his inheritance.
