Paul Blose's story begins in Yonkers, New York, where family, faith, music, and a close neighborhood shaped the values that would follow him into adulthood. Raised with lessons of hard work, loyalty, discipline, and responsibility, he carried those foundations with him when he chose to enlist in the United States Marine Corps during the Vietnam era. Assigned to Bravo Squad, Golf Company, 2nd Battalion, Ist Marine Regiment, Ist Marine Division, he faced patrols, ambushes, combat operations, fear, loss, and the constant pressure of survival.
