When you receive news about your son's accident, and the injury is described as serious, it is crippling. Life stops suddenly. A shock changes your life path and mobilizes all your resources to respond to and mitigate this disaster. My son Ali Al Saadi suffered a traffic accident that nearly killed him. In this story and at my son's behest to document it as a lesson, I tell the harsh details of our experience as family members, relatives, and friends, and the lessons learned that will undoubtedly benefit the reader, through Ali's therapeutic journey that took almost a year.
