Introducing Jesus

I love Jesus, and I love introducing people to him. That’s exactly what this book is - an introduction to the life and teachings of Jesus. In my work as a pastor I've recognized the need for a study that follows Jesus’ life and teachings from beginning to end. In sermons and bible studies we hear bits and pieces of Jesus’ words and see disjointed pictures of his works here on earth. This book offers a big-picture view of Christ that is comprehensive without being bogged down in minute details. This is the story of Jesus, as told through the pages of the Gospels. Each of the carefully selected readings is accompanied by 5 questions that require increasingly deeper levels of reflection, ending with an action to be taken to deepen the reader's faith. Each reading ends with a prayer-prompter that helps promote the habit of prayer.
