The Mechanic

It was just seven in the evening, Sonia had gone bored watching her favorite TV show. It wasn’t that the show didn’t have anything interesting for the night. No not that. Sonia’s mind had been wandering on its own for a long time, the same span of time that had her realizing what she was missing – a man. Sonia was gentle enough, attractive enough, smart enough and most of all financially capable enough. It wasn’t her personality that was causing this, it was her image. Sonia was a thirty three year old unmarried woman who continually defied all expectations. She quit high school and pursued her interest – machines. Her skill grew very fast she soon became the mechanic everybody knew. When she decided that she needed to switch companies, her regular fans went with her – making the employer very satisfied. As in any other place of work, things go south eventually, at least for Sonia. She knew she was better than the rest and didn’t hesitate to name her price.
