Empty space, with only the occasional twinkle of a far-off star, fills every window of the quiet Shakerloops space station. Between shifts in the Wreck Room, Natasha often imagines what it would be like to pilot her own ship through that great void. But a ship costs money, so all she can do for now is listen to tall tales from spacers passing through the system. But Natasha is about to learn that not all tall tales yet have an ending, and that she might have discovered a way to drop into an ongoing plot to recover a lost container ship, and the untold treasures rumoured to be hidden in its cargo hold.
