Bluebird is a book of poetry partially based on the poem by Sylvia Plath entitled "The Disquieting Muses". In it, Plath refers to "bluebirds that never were Never, never, found anywhere"; a fantastic realm that provided respite from the fear and despair of this absurd life in which we find ourselves, a manic desire to find meaning and sublimity and redemption within the dark recesses that litter the inner landscape of our shared human experience, as told from suburban end of the spyglass, the quiet scream of the American Dream. The bluebird is the projection of happiness, of perfection. The world exists in its shadow.
