Sarah's Laughter

Recently I’ve encountered several women who were barren. All of them have children but were made barren either through lack of wisdom, verbal abuse, or spiritual abuse. All of them are suffering now. None of them have spoken out on the issue - the pain is simply too great. I marveled at all these testimonies and thought to myself, they are just like Sarah in certain ways. Sarah who waited on a promise until she grew old and lost hope. Sarah who followed her husband into an unknown land for the sake of a promise. Sarah, who learned the hard way what it meant to not take matters into your own hands. If you are well acquainted with Sarah's pain, maybe its time you experienced Sarah's laughter.
