Kacurovsky/Kowerko

Catalog for exhibition of Alexandra Kowerko and Wasyl Kacurovsky at Ukrainian Institute of Modern Art in 2009. Born of a mutual admiration between the two artists, this dual exhibition has been in the making for over a decade. Some years before his death, then-Curator Emeritus of UIMA, Wasyl Kacurovsky, had recently completed a new body of work. As a long-time collector and admirer of Alexandra Kowerko’s artwork, he proposed the possibility of a dual exhibition of Kowerko’s and his own artwork, noting that it would make for a ‘curious union’.
