Larry Drover is a freighter pilot who didn't expect to be carrying equipment to the front lines of a war zone. Natalie Whiting has been forced by the top commanders to use Larry and his ship as cover to gather intelligence behind enemy lines. Between being captured, escaping, flying into the largest and bloodiest ambush of the war, and assaulting an enemy ship, they learn to develop respect and affection for each other.
