Pimple

This book is an anthology of the author's writing, and each poem brings to life a lived experience with instinctive articulation. This year is the year of bows, knots, and ballerina flats; where femininity is celebrated in all forms, including wrath-like pimples and their honorary acne patches. Some subside quickly; the rest form scars for life. The main thing is that they are super annoying. The author hopes to enliven feelings of rage and resentment with her words, and she welcomes you onboard to this safe space. It will likely not be a relaxing read.
