Whose World

Too many are voiceless, exiled from the harmony of a humane life, confined to the fringes of existence by a privileged few. Many who care find themselves imprisoned by the shackles of political, social, & religious correctness, unable to speak or stand on behalf of those many who remain voiceless. Often, the choice is to risk for the fresh air of exile, the fresh air of exile from one’s comfort zones, essentially stateless yet no longer voiceless. History reveals the power of words & thought & rhythm & rhyme to build havens and move mountains, needless obstacles, in the minds of women and men of diverse cultural orientations and of diverse philosophical persuasions. Life is a casting, a casting for the main event. Though the casting has been known to stretch marginally over nine decades, the main event lasts eternal, irreversibly determined by one’s performance during this lone casting spell. One take. Make it count. Walk the walk! Moments do come. Indeed they do go.
