Edwin M. Cordevilla is the author of poetry books, "Phoenix and Other Poems (2000)," "Occasions of Air, Fire, Water, Earth (2012)" and the non-traditional epic, "Ten Thousand Lines Project For World Peace (2012)." Edwin M. Cordevilla, born to World War II veteran Benjamin B. Cordevilla and Lourdes M. Cordevilla, on September 30,1967, is a poet based in the Philippines. Aside from being a poet, he is also a journalist. He was a recipient of the Louie Rufino Prieto Foundation Journalism Award in 1997 and awarded as an outstanding alumnus in the field of journalism in 2004 by the Far Eastern University. Cordevilla is a member of Philippine Center of International PEN (Poets, Playwrights, Essayists, Novelists).
