Alicen Marie Felder is a 12-year-old 6th grade honor roll student in Redford, Michigan. She is also a skilled soccer player who enjoys the outdoors, reciting poetry, reading, swimming, and spending time with her family and friends. Alicen is an active member of her church where she serves as a member and the president of the Cherubic choir, a youth usher, and an honorary member of the social justice ministry. Alicen’s recitation presentations have afforded her opportunities to share her gift across the nation, on television, and in two films. She says reciting poetry and speaking are gifts from God that she is grateful she can share with the world. Alicen wrote Say a Little Prayer to inspire others with speaking challenges that they too can overcome their struggle with speaking; with faith, works, and prayer.
