A proposito di
Glenn Higgins
Glenn F. Higgins began life in 1934, forty miles from where Richard Higgins, his grandfather ten times removed, had settled in Plymouth Plantation in 1630. Primarily educated in New England schools with a little of Florida thrown in, he married his high school sweetheart at age twenty. The family soon gained a son and daughter. A designer and builder at heart, he, with several others founded an antenna company in 1963 which occupied much of his time until retirement late in 1998. Several years of live aboard cruising from Florida and the Bahamas eventually moved the couple to regain shore ties on Pine Island. The writing bug struck after settling into their present home in the seclusion of Bokeelia, Florida's palm and mango groves, and began with family and travel memoirs. Membership in Pine Island Writers Inc. on the island, encouraged continued efforts, leading to the creation of the book you are viewing, the first short novel to cross the finish line.
