Growing up in NM and CO with farming family, I developed a love for the Southwest, its history, culture, and horses. I worked with horses for 15 yrs. before deciding Biology was my career interest. I got my B.S. in Wildlife Biology, and almost my M.S. in Marine and Environmental Biology. It is my love for history, science and writing that eventually led me to writing. I now write novels that teach science, history, and Christian character like the writings of G. A. Henty, but with the adventure style of R. M. Ballantyne. I have intertwined my passions into novels, creating swashbuckling tales of fights at sea, races across the desert, long treks through steaming jungle, and more.
