I was born on 11 October 1959 in Dresden and first published my autobiography "Tears of Ice or The Stolen Life" in 2008. My first attempts at writing began when I was still a teenager in the GDR, where I also took part in children's and youth literature competitions. I also wrote texts for youth magazines in the GDR, such as Trommel, FRÖSI, Neues Leben, ABC-Zeitung or Eulenspiegel. After a longer break from writing, I started writing again in the 1990s. Since 1995 I worked on my autobiography "Tears of Ice", which I completed and published in 2007. It is about my life in conflict with the system of the GDR and the subsequent forced adoption of my children. In the following years I wrote a number of different texts and publications, e.g. a children's book, satirical fairy tales etc. Currently I am working on further children's books and other projects.
