Born and raised in Washington, DC, Michelle has always been interested in writing. She started writing poetry (she writes poetry under the name ZETAZEN) and short stories, then became interested in screenwriting. She never thought she had the patience to write a novel, until she decided to novelize her screenplay Church Chick. Michelle is graduate of University of Maryland University College with a B.S. in Management, M.S. in HR Management, and a MBA. She also holds a M.F.A. from National University. Michelle is a member of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc., and the Alpha Sigma Lambda Honor Society. She is married with three children and resides in the Washington, DC area.
