A Poet’s Eye was created in August of 2012 by Simon Elliot in direct response to the need to expand the horizons of a select group of poets further that what the mainstream poetry sites could offer. Simon created a safe haven on Facebook for these poets to congregate, write and discuss poetry. These books are a direct result of that experiment. Using the core membership, Simon has pulled together the best works of each member, culminating in the bookw which you now see. Michael has helped each member develop their own specific style and has formatted and copyedited each book in order to provide each member with the best tome that they can offer. Each book is unique and holds a special meaning to both the member and the community as a whole.
