My name is Jake Koch. I am a right handed pitcher from Orlando, FL. I pitched for Florida Tech in Melbourne, FL for four years of my life. I had the option to move on to the next level after college as an undrafted free agent, but I turned it down to pursue a career as an engineer. I majored in Mechanical Engineering during my time at Florida Tech, and after graduating college I worked with companies such as NASA and United Space Alliance. My story is not that of the average college baseball player. I was the player that was told he would never play high school baseball, told I would never play college baseball, and told I could never play professional baseball. I spent 8 years of my life proving the critics wrong with only my family supporting me. Now I want to share with the ball players of the future the things I learned, so that they too can play the sport they love in college and succeed.
