Bill and Carol Levergood were missionaries for 21 years to Brazil. They are currently at the Baptist Bible College of Springfield, Missouri where Bill is Dean of Students. They are currently on staff at Cherry Street Baptist Church where Carol and her family are charter members. Carol Levergood found writing devotionals in a fun way helped her to cope with rather difficult situations. Some situations not so humorous like facing the mafia, robbed of everything they owned, and many deaths of friends on the Brazilian highways. With a tropical flavor she writes, "Sliced Diced, and Mashed" and "Son" Ripened-- I'm Going Bananas, A Banana With No A"Peel" Fried Green Bananas, and Piece of Cake, and newest "Whatever Floats Your Boat." Forty years in the ministry, 21 in Brazil, S.A. has made her life colorful that's for sure.
