Robert Scott
Bob Scott was born in 1947 and grew up in Enfield, North London. He went to Chace Boys' School before training in telecommunications with the then GPO. He subsequently moved to Standard Telecomms & Cables as an engineer and lecturer on the first generation of electronic telephone exchanges. Gaining an Electronics degree and Telecomms MSc, Bob became a design manager for Nortel Telecomms. Having retired in 2001, he purchased and refurbished an old farmhouse in remote southern France with his partner Abi. He now spends his time between there and Suffolk UK. Bob is a Chartered Engineer, European Engineer and Fellow of the Institution of Engineering and Technology.
