Bruce Coffman, 1970-2025, was definitely no one noteworthy in the literary world, or in any other way. Why the Willow Weeps was his only book, penned and self published in his sad last days. Not even the Union County Library in tiny little Morganfield, Kentucky where he lived his entire life would put it into circulation despite him desperately donating a copy in hopes they might. He died destitute, penniless and alone in a rented trailer in rural Kentucky. Oh well. A couple of people who read Why the Willow Weeps said it was okay.
