Cathy (Catherine) Buckle is a best-selling Zimbabwean author. Her blog ‘Letter from Zimbabwe’ has been running for 26 years, is read around the world and is regularly featured in international print and broadcast media. Cathy’s book “African Tears” was serialized in the UK Sunday Times and a number of other international publications. Cathy is well known for her books containing eye witness accounts of life in Zimbabwe since 2000 including land invasions, political violence, disputed elections, human rights abuses and economic collapse. In addition to current affairs books and articles, Cathy writes about conservation, wildlife and wilderness adventures. She produces very popular annual photobooks, “Zimbabwe’s Timeless Beauty,” containing evocative photographs and stories from Zimbabwe and an annual calendar, “Beautiful Zimbabwe.”
