Born and raised in the South Alabama communities of Dothan and Enterprise respectively, C.R. (Ron) Walker earned both his undergraduate and graduate degrees from Auburn University. He served twenty-six years in the U.S. Air Force, including a tour in Vietnam, and retired as a full Colonel. He now lives in Panama City Beach, Florida and spends much of his time reading and writing, with an occasional hunting or fishing trip.
