I was born in '59 no more than fifteen miles from where I live in a village in the heart of Sussex, England, a beautiful part of the country. I took an interest in writing at an early age. I guess a vivid imagination may as well be shared, but also, I find writing a good escape from every day life. In fact, I find it to be a great hobby, though it's not a very active one. This is why I also love to go on long walks across the countryside, especially in the summer months. Since my parents passed away some years ago my wife and I live in the family home where we are very happy. I like science fiction, normally in the hope that certain fictional ideas might eventually come true, as many do. I've written "When the ancients return" and "After the ancients returned", basing a lot of it on historical fact that we know of and some that, as I say, could come true. My assumption would be that most things we have and take for granted today were once someone's imagination, a satellite, a microwave, a mobile phone for instance.
