David's first three novels, The Unusual Possession of Alastair Stubb (gothic paranormal), Infinite Rooms (literary psychological), and Two Dogs At The One Dog Inn and Other Stories (magical realism novella and mixed genre short stories) were published by Urbane Publications in 2015, 2016, and 2017 respectively, and subsequently self-published. His fourth novel, Abbie and the Portal (science fiction), was published next. The contemporary speculative novel When The Lover Lies is currently unpublished. He has also written and illustrated a children's book called Sam and Billy Bubbles. Some of his short stories have been published in various magazines and anthologies, including Beyond Words Magazine, Secret Attic anthology, The Reach magazine, And Stories for Homes, amongst others.
