Dr. Destiny Huff, LPC, is an Autistic and ADHD mental health therapist, special education advocate, author, speaker, and parent of two neurodivergent children. Through her work, she helps families and professionals move beyond compliance-based approaches and toward support rooted in dignity, access, autonomy, and a deeper understanding of each learner’s needs. Drawing from professional expertise, lived experience, and years of navigating special education systems, Dr. Huff creates practical resources that challenge deficit-based language and help adults build more affirming environments for disabled and neurodivergent children. Her work focuses on transforming how we understand behavior, regulation, communication, mental health, and educational access. Dr. Huff is the founder of Destiny Huff Consulting and co-host of *The Affirming Village Podcast*. She is committed to ensuring that disabled learners are not simply expected to fit into systems that were not designed for them, but are supported in being understood, respected, and fully included.
