From the late 1800s through the early 1900s, dozens of series for boys and girls were published. We present some of them here. Please understand that these books were inexpensive, so there were some editing issues, typesetting mistakes and even one book with a missing chapter number—it has the text, just not the right number. Products of their time, some contain what is considered racially insensitive terms of reference and patters of speech. These have been left in as they are a part of history. A few books in various series are missing but will be added when located. All books have been reconstructed from page-by-page scans and OCR, along with some illustrations that were located on the Internet. Where possible, original cover art is used. Where little or none exists they have been recreated using as much as we have located. As time goes on, more series will be added.
