Gianni Chiarello has gained a reputation as an extremely versatile musician, having professional credits as a guitarist, bassist, arranger and producer. A Berklee College of Music graduate has studied under the direction of Mick Goodrick, Hal Crook, Brett Willmott and has extensive performance credits throughout Europe and the US. Gianni has been performing with, and leading as Musical Director, numerous bands and orchestras, comping for celebrities like The Platters and The Coasters, Vegas/Broadway entertainers like Hal Fraiser, Lorna Luft, Ben Vereen and Roy Walker. His latest trio album 'Entwined' (2009) has been described as a preconception-free mix of Jazz, Rock, Blues and contemporary elements. Active in the educational field for over two decades he is the author of instructional books “Contemporary solo guitar” (2008) , “Contemporary blues soloing” (2009)and “Contemporary blues chords and comping” (2011)
