Irwin Tyler established himself as a writer and researcher at IBM, where he wrote several technical books for them. His science and computer focus at that time included artificial intelligence research, and he eventually received one of the earliest software patents issued in the U.S. Once he retired from IBM he began writing in earnest, engaging several long-term ghost writing projects for medical and home construction clients. At the same time he began writing his first books, which total 23 as of early 2022. The subjects primarily have been self-help (including alternative medicine and weight control) and spirituality and the Bible. "NO TIME TO SAY GOODBYE" is his first historical work. All are available as eBooks and in print versions. He writes in multiple genres because so many of his life experiences have excited him, and he wants very much to share what he has learned. This has led him to adopt this business motto: “If I can research it well then I can write it for you.” While primarily he writes shorter non-fiction works, he has begun his first novel, a period piece of some 200 years ago, which likely will be published some time in 2023. Via his Ahl Kayn Publishing company, he also edits and publishes print and digital books for other authors.
