Jay Jay Greene is a Brooklyn-based educator, author, and the founder of JJ Creative Ventures and Operation Playtalion — a community learning framework built on the principle that every learner should teach three others. His systematic learning methodology grew from a single paper rocket taught to him as a child at P.S. 135 in Brooklyn. That moment — patient, step-by-step, one checkpoint at a time — became the foundation of everything that followed: three origami craft models, an aviation-informed checkpoint system, and community workshops designed to increase the confidence to learn. Jay Jay has demonstrated his method at Maker Faire and Brooklyn community events, and his dedication to the Swim Strong Foundation's mission to increase the situational awareness of water safety. His books include Origami Rocket: Evolution (2nd Edition), Origami Rocket: How It All Started (Free Sample), and an upcoming water safety inspired book.
