Joanne Sigler is a life long resident and champion of Shreveport, Louisiana. Widowed at an early age with two small girls, Joanne later married Orvis Sigler, a College basketball coach. This union brought two more girls into the family. A busy teacher and mother of four now, Joanne put her writting talents on the back burner. With the birds out of the nest, Joanne began to publish memories of by gone days in Shreveport in the Voices section of the Shreveport Times. This book is a compilation of the years 2007 and 2008.
