Luís Amorim, born in Oeiras, Portugal, has been writing sport, poetry and prose since 2005. He has already written 33 sport books (Football, Formula 1, Rally, Sailing, Equestrianism, Cycling), about 3700 stories with 122 published fiction books, 1 in english (“Cinema 1”), and also, in portuguese, twenty-eight from the "Contos" series, "Terra Ausente", "A Chegada do Papa", “O Castelo Iluminado”, “Envelope Misterioso”, “O Tempo e suas Vozes”, “A Estatueta do Cais” and two books of "Pensamentos", in prose. In poetry, he has various series with several volumes, such as "Mulheres", "Tele-visões", "Almas", "Sombras", "Sonhos", "Fantasias", "Senhoras" and the juvenile hero "Esquilo-branco". All these mentioned poetry works are part of the so-called poetic tales, as identified by the author, which also include "Lendas", "Campeões", "Músicas", "Turismo", "Palavras", "Flores", "27 Flores", "Todas as Flores" and seven more from the "Flores" universe, where this element appears in all plots, for example, "A ceia do bispo e outros contos poéticos". The writing has also been transformed into poetic narratives, such as "Beatriz" (inspired by the character from Dante Alighieri's "A Divina Comédia"), "Paz", "O Viajante", "O Sino", "A Sereia" and "O Mapa", the latter with 3016 verses. In poetry, there are also "Refrões", "Sonetos", "Trovas" and four volumes of "Canções". Two books were published a second time, with illustrations by Paulo Pinto ("Almas") and Liliana Maia ("Fantasias").
