A proposito di
Malc Cowle

Born in the Lancashire town of Droylsden in 1944, Malc lived in a number of towns on Manchester’s periphery, moving to the city at the age of sixteen to commence his engineering apprenticeship. He finished his time as a Mechanical Engineering Draughtsman in 1965 and subsequently worked in the engineering and shipbuilding industries, spending many years as an active trade unionist and Communist political organiser. In 1981 he became a proud dad and when his son, Thomas, was twenty-two months old a single parent. Like many others he was blacklisted by the Engineering Employers for his trade union activities. Liberated from factory life he created a new career for himself as a made to measure bicycle frame builder. Throughout his life he was and is a keen cyclist. An example of his work as a bicycle frame builder can be found in the Museum of Science and Industry, Manchester. All books are published in support of the Working Class Movement Library in Salford - Manchester's twin city.
