Michael R. Bannister, CPhT was born on October 10, 1987 at the Anderson Memorial Hospital in Anderson, South Carolina. When Michael R. Bannister was in the first grade at Iva Elementary School, he was inducted to the A.P.P.L.E Art class. The youngest student to ever be nominated. The class was for students that had a special artistic ability. When other students his age was just drawing stick-figures for people and lollipops for trees, Michael was drawing fully detailed people and trees, thus catching the attention of the art teacher. Ever since the first grade, Michael has had a total of 12 years of art classes. When Michael started middle school at Starr-Iva Middle School, he joined the middle school band. He played the Alto Saxophone. When he was in the seventh grade, the band director, also the director of the Crescent High School Tiger Marching Band, asked Michael if he would be interested in joining the high school band.
