Nicola Chey Matthews was born in Biloxi, MS in 1975. As an only child, she spent her early years making up games and reading books as a way to keep herself occupied. Her love of the written word had her trying her hand at writing when she was only 8 years old when she attempted to write her first novel. Since that time she has successfully written and published several novels, a host of short stories, & is currently working on a 9 novel series called BEFORE THE SUN RISES. In addition, she continues to work on other short stories and novels. It is her hope to one day help other authors to become successful independently published authors through her weblog, webinars, public publishing courses, and eventually with her own publishing company.
