Peter has held key financial leadership roles across New Jersey, serving as Chief Financial Officer for Lakewood Township and Red Bank Borough, and as Treasurer for the City of Jersey City. He is licensed by the State of New Jersey as both a Certified Municipal Finance Officer and a Certified Tax Collector. Academically, Peter earned his Master of Business Administration in Finance from New Charter University, graduating Magna Cum Laude. He also graduated as salutatorian from St. John’s University with a Bachelor of Science in Actuarial Science. Peter’s consulting work includes fiscal and academic performance analysis for the Jersey City Public School District and the Learning Community Charter School. He has also served his community as a two-term elected Jersey City Committee member. His professional background spans roles as a pension actuary and an information technology specialist in financial services, media, and tech startups. He founded a survey company and contributed to the early tech publishing scene, coauthoring two software books during Amazon’s book-only era.
