Paul Walters Stone was widowed on August 27, 2005 when her husband, Ed, suffered an unexpected heart attack at the age of 55. She began writing the book, “What Widows Want”, in 2006 after meeting many other widows who expressed a desire to share their own stories so that others might benefit from their experiences.
