A long time resident of Northern Ontario, Canada, and residing in Prince Township, author, Richard Mousseau now spends retirement years writing and promoting his collection of novels, short stories, plays and cowboy poetry to interested readers. Rick writes mostly of northern adventures of the Canadian landscape and its residents. His plays reflect a variety of humour based on realistic situations. Longing for the genre of the Canadian Cowboy life, Rick's cowboy poetry gives the humouristic side of the cowboy and cowgirl life, along with a serious side at times. Always a story teller, the art of song writing is most prevalent in Rick's life as is evident in the vast selection of song books, containing all genre of musical styles and topics. When asked, Rick says, 'When siting and relaxing out on the farm, contemplation conjurers up story lines, characters and locales for my stories. And music and lyrics are constantly in motion.'
